Police seek suspects in armed robbery

Mt. Juliet store robbed early Thursday

Two men robbed a Mt. Juliet store at gunpoint early Thursday morning, according to police.

Officers responded to J.M. Market at 590 Nonaville Rd. after a panic alarm went off at around 5:20 a.m.

According to police, two men wearing masks entered the store and one pointed a handgun at the clerks while another demanded cash from the register.

Police said the men ran out the front door with cash and cigarettes and fled on foot, scattering packs of cigarettes.

The victims described the first suspect as a 6-foot-tall man with a medium build wearing dark clothes and a “ski-style” mask. The second suspect was described as a short man, about 5-foot-5-inches, with a medium build and wearing dark clothes and a ski-style mask.
