Lebanon police charged a suspect Sunday believed to be involved in armed robberies at a convenience store the same day and a hotel a week ago.

Police Chief Scott Bowen said Larry W. Dunn, 36, of Lebanon, was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery after tips led to a vehicle in which Dunn was traveling.

Officers responded to an armed robbery call at Square One Express at 201 W. Main St. Bowen said the clerk told officers a white man entered the store, pulled out a knife and demanded money.

Bowen said detectives stopped a vehicle matching the description given by the clerk later Sunday. A 17-year-old girl was driving, and Dunn was the passenger.

Bowen said Dunn confessed to the Square One Express robbery, as well as an armed robbery Sept. 7 at the Executive Inn.

Dunn was booked into Wilson County Jail, where he remained Monday on $200,000 bond.
