Yearlong drug case ends with several suspects charged

Lebanon police ended a yearlong multiagency investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics Wednesday night and Thursday with nearly 60 indictments issued on 25 suspects.

Lebanon police ended a yearlong multiagency investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics Wednesday night and Thursday with nearly 60 indictments issued on 25 suspects.

Police Chief Scott Bowen said 59 indictments were issued and a search warrant executed that resulted in multiple narcotics-related charges. He said at least four suspects were in jail and would be served warrants later.

Bowen said Lebanon SWAT executed a search warrant at 1326 Christine Drive as part of the investigation. Officers found and seized more than $13,000, about 2 ounces of what officers believed to be cocaine and two vehicles.

Lereco Abston, 30, of Lebanon, was charged with possession of schedule II drugs for resale, possession of schedule III drugs for resale, possession of schedule IV drugs for resale, possession of schedule VI drugs for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia and forgery. Abston remained in Wilson County Jail on Thursday on $62,250 bond.

Tavanna Rhodes, 36, of Lebanon, was charged with possession of schedule II drugs for resale, possession of schedule IV drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Rhodes was released Thursday from Wilson County Jail on $4,750 bond.

Officers started serving narcotics-related indictments Thursday at about 5 a.m. with the assistance of FBI, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Agency and Tennessee Department of Corrections agents.

Warrants were served to:

• Adam Harper, 32, of Lebanon, for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.

• Dominique Haughton, 30, of Lebanon, for sale of schedule VI drugs.

• Edward Adams, 37, of Lebanon, for two counts of sale of schedule II drugs.

• Derek Neal, 34, of Lebanon, for two counts of sale of schedule II drugs.

• Kasha Stasiak, 23, of Lebanon, for possession of schedule II drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Jessica Corona, 31, of Lebanon, for possession of schedule VI drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Terrance Oldham, 40, of Lebanon for two counts of sale of schedule II drugs.

• Joshua Jobe, 27, of Lebanon for sale of schedule VI drugs.

• Willie Ray Hearn Jr., 42, of Lebanon, for sale of schedule II drugs.
