NASHVILLE -- Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Department of Human Services Office of Internal Audit agents conducted an investigation into the activities of Pamela Campbell, a former 10-year employee who worked for a contracted company for the Child Support Program in Williamson County at 212 E. Main St. in Franklin.

In November 2013, and at the request of the District Attorney General Kim Helper, TBI agents began the investigation and discovered Campbell was using her position within the office to divert over $10,000 for her own personal use from 2010 to November 2013.

On March 10, TBI agents presented the case to a Williamson County grand jury, which returned indictments for one count of official misconduct and one count of theft more than $10,000. On Saturday, Pamela K. Campbell, 52, turned herself in at the Williamson County Jail.

Agents said theinvestigation is still active and ongoing. If anyone submitted child support payments to that office and believes their payments were compromised, call TBI at 800-TBI-FIND or 800-824-3463.
