Mt. Juliet police are on the lookout for a woman who apparently snatched another customer's wallet off the checkout counter at Walmart.

Policy spokesperson Tyler Chandler said a customer left her wallet on the counter after she checked out March 30. He said when the victim realized she left her wallet, she returned to the store and found it was missing. The wallet contained money, an iPhone, debit card and identification.

Chandler said the store's surveillance video confirmed a women who was in line next to the victim swiped the wallet and hid it in her purse. According to police, the suspect is a large, white female about 30 years old. She was wearing glasses, a purple jacket and blue jeans.

A 1-year-old boy was in the suspect's grocery cart during the incident. They left the parking lot in an early 2000s gray Buick Park Avenue sedan, according to Chandler.
