Lebanon police arrested a person suspected in a months-old armed-robbery case Wednesday.
According to police Chief Scott Bowen, officers arrested Tyjuan D. Reedy, 19, of Lebanon, whom police believe to be responsible for an armed robbery that happened January 12 at Little Caesars.
Bowen said a grand jury indicted Reedy in March for aggravated robbery.
“Reedy was spotted by officers among a group of individuals on York Street,” Bowen said. “When officers approached Reedy, they saw him hide something behind a log.”
He said that when officers approached Reedy, he gave officers a false name, but they believed him to be the subject they were looking for. Reedy was then taken into custody.
“Officers found a gun in one of his pockets,” Bowen said. “Behind the log, they found another gun.”
Reedy was served with the indictment for aggravated robbery and was also charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and criminal impersonation, Bowen said.
A court date for the aggravated robbery charge is set for May 29, while a June 4 court date is set for the weapon and criminal impersonation charges.
