Lebanon police remain on the lookout for a suspect or suspects involved in a shooting incident Monday night.
Officers responded to a call of a reported shooting around 8:30 p.m. on E. Forrest Avenue. Investigators said Michael Bass, 18, of Lebanon, drove himself to University Medical Center after he was shot multiple times, including once to the right side of his face.
LifeFlight paramedics flew Bass to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where police said he was treated and released.
Police are interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence from the vehicle. Investigators believe Bass knew his assailant. The motive remains under investigation.
