Vol State Community College celebrates awards night

Several local graduates win awards.

Hannah Bass, of Mt. Juliet, received the Pathfinder Award. The Pathfinder Award is presented to a student who has demonstrated significant personal and academic growth and is expected to continue on a path toward greater success. 

Stacie Bennett, of Watertown, was awarded the Business Division Excellence Award from Volunteer State Community College. The honor recognizes an outstanding graduate from the division. 

Samantha Michaels, of Lebanon, was awarded the Humanities Division Excellence Award from Volunteer State Community College. The honor recognizes an outstanding graduate from the division. 

Jacob Young, of Lebanon, received the Mary Cole Nichols Award. The honor recognizes a student who has shown exceptional service in improving the quality of student life.
