Byars Dowdy holds fifth-grade graduation

On May 20, Byars Dowdy Elementary School held a fifth-grade graduation, and 104 fifth graders received their diplomas.

On May 20, Byars Dowdy Elementary School held a fifth-grade graduation, and 104 fifth graders received their diplomas.

Becky Kegley, Principal of Winfree Bryant Middle School, was the keynote speaker and spoke about the challenging years of middle school and instructed parents to “love” our children through the good and bad times.

During the graduation ceremony, various fifth graders received academic and behavior awards.

The evening concluded with a reception for the graduates and their parents.
