Local residents graduate from Harding University

The following local residents are part of more than 750 graduates who received a diploma at Harding University’s commencement exercises May 10, 2014.

Candice Meadows, of Lebanon, received a bachelor of arts in general studies. Abigail Partlow, of Mt. Juliet, received a bachelor of arts in early childhood education with a teaching licensure. Travis Lanier, of Old Hickory, received a bachelor of science in software development.

University of Memphis awards degrees

The University of Memphis awarded 2,278 degrees during commencement ceremonies May 10.

Kayla Grace and Tiffany Momon, both of Mt. Juliet, were among the graduates.

Austin Peay announces spring graduates

Austin Peay State University held its 85th Spring Commencement ceremony May 9 in the campus’ Dunn Center. 

More than 1,100 students from the College of Arts and Letters, College of Behavioral and Health Sciences, College of Business, Martha Dickerson Eriksson College of Education, College of Science and Mathematics and School of Technology and Public Management were awarded degrees.

The graduates included: Anna Barry, of Lebanon; Paul Bullington, of Old Hickory; and Jennifer Burden, Jessica Dillingham, Channing Dudley, Gregory Turmel and Jordan Warner, all of Mt. Juliet.

Lebanon area students graduate in December 2013 ceremony at Lipscomb University

Several area students were awarded a degree from Lipscomb University at the conclusion of the fall semester 2013.

Students who graduated in December were Chelsea Burroughs, bachelor of science in K-6 education and Jonny Midgett, bachelor of science, magna cum laude, mathematics.
