Capitol Theatre to hold New Year’s Eve bash

Local residents can ring in the New Year differently this year and join the Capitol Theatre as it hosts its New Year’s Eve Bash.

Local residents can ring in the New Year differently this year and join the Capitol Theatre as it hosts its New Year’s Eve Bash.

The celebration will be Tuesday at 9 p.m. with doors to the theatre, located at 110 W. Main Street in Lebanon, opening at 8:30 p.m.

Dress for the event is cocktail attire.

The party is for ages 21 and older and will offer live music, heavy hors d’oeuvres, dessert, beer and wine and a special champagne toast at midnight.

Two Fat Men Catering Company will provide food for the event.

There also will be valet parking and a cash bar, and The Art Mill will provide a photo booth for guests to use at the event.

Featured entertainment will be by musical guest Little Kings, who will start at 9 p.m.

Sponsors for the event include The Capitol Theatre, Michael’s Cover Up, Party Providers, Inc., Two Fat Men Catering Company, The Art Mill, The Crystal Couture Store, Mo’Cara, Signs Now and the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office will also provide safe rides home from any party in Wilson County on New Year’s Eve for free, compliments of their “Safe Ride” campaign.

Tickets are $75 for guests and $60 for designated drivers. Ticket prices include everything, including beer and wine as well as valet parking. Tickets can be purchased at capitoltheatretn.com, are available by phone at 615-784-4014 or at the box office of the theatre.
