Personnel from the Tennessee State Museum will be at the Wilson County Archives on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. to photograph historical items.

The opportunity was available to Tennesseans, on a county-by-county basis during the past few years, and now is coming to Wilson County.

Anyone with an historical item, preferably having to do with the Civil War, may bring it to the Wilson County Archives at 111 South College St. in Lebanon and have the item photographed. After the items are photographed, they will be returned to owners.

These historical items may include family heirlooms, rifles, pistols, swords, uniforms, boots, shoes, photographs, paintings, letters, diaries, saddles, bayonets, minie balls, cannon balls or any other item.

Appointments may be made by calling Myers Brown at 615-253-3470.
