Lebanon Senior Center will hold A December to Remember at the Capitol Theatre on Tuesday.
The event will feature music and dancing, as well as hors d'oeuvres, and all proceeds will benefit the center. Center Director Patti Watts said this is the first time the center has had an event like this one.
"We have a Valentine banquet and we have a yard sale in the spring, but this the first time we've done something like this," said Watts.
The festivities begin at 5 p.m.
"From 5-6 p.m., we will have visiting and networking; we'll have wine and food - just like you would at a Christmas party," Watts said.
Music will be provided from 6-8 p.m. by David Hale, and a dance floor will be available for anyone who has the urge to cut a rug.
"We want everybody to join in," Watts said. "Everybody is welcome. This is a community event; it's not just for seniors."
The other feature of the evening will be a silent auction.
Watts said tables will be set up near the entrance displaying the items up for bid. She said some of the items include a handmade quilt, a crocheted throw and a cowboy hat and Christmas CD autographed by local country artist Gretchen Wilson.
Tickets are $25 and are available at the Senior Center and will also be available at the door. Valet parking will be available.
