More than 350 Middle Tennessee Electric Member Corp. customers were without power for about 10 minutes Tuesday morning while crews repaired a blown circuit.
“A line the crew was working on had gotten away and popped a circuit,” said MTEMC spokesperson Josh Clenbenen. “They went ahead and took the power down and repaired it.”
The incident happened just after 10 a.m. at a transformer at the intersection of Coles Ferry Pike and Castle Heights Avenue.
Clenbenen said 359 customers were without power for about 10 minutes. He said no further outages were expected.
