Want to eat good food and help a good cause at the same time? Then Dare to Dine might just be the event for you.

Leadership Wilson has sponsored the evening of sampling food at the homes of locals since 2003.

This year's event will be held Nov. 2.

On the agenda for the 11th installment will be 15 homes. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with a dessert finale at 9 p.m.

According to Leadership Wilson Executive Director Dorie Mitchell, reservations must be made by Oct. 20. Reservations are required in advance and are $50 per person.

"Proceeds are used to support the Youth Leadership Wilson program and community service projects," said Mitchell.

Homes on this year's tour include: Angel and Brody Kane, Geoff and Amber Hurdle, Ron and Lisia Tucker, Mitchel and Melida Bone, Camille Burdine, Greg and Debra Butler, Danny and Diane Stewart, Gary and Denise Thorne, Todd Tressler, Sherry Kirkland, Lewis and Jenny Bennett, Scott and April Bowen, Shawn Smith, Steve and Linda Armistead and Jeff and Kendra Ray.

"The dessert finale this year is at the Capitol Theatre," said Mitchell.
