Organizers seek volunteers to man the World War II Museum at Fiddlers Grove during the Wilson County Fair from Aug. 15-23.
“This is a golden opportunity to educate and inform all about the war and exhibiting many items from the military services who won that massive undertaking,” said organizer Ret. Lt. Col. Jim Henderson.
Henderson said volunteers are needed for one or more four-hour shifts, beginning at about 4 p.m. each weekday during the fair and from noon until 8 p.m. on weekends.
Anyone interested in volunteering may contact Henderson at 615-428-1671.
“We are counting on volunteers from last year, veterans and interested persons, as well as the county’s JROTCs and military vehicles,” Henderson said.
