Friday afternoon is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 47 degrees and calm winds from the south-southwest around 5 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Rain and sleet are expected to return Friday night before 10 p.m., then rain and snow between 10 p.m. and Saturday at 1 a.m., then rain after 1 a.m. The low is expected to be around 36 degrees, and there’s a 90-percent chance of precipitation. Little or no snow accumulation is expected.

The rain is expected to remain Saturday, mainly before noon, with a high near 46 degrees and south-southwest wind at 5 mph-10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. The rain chance is 80 percent.

A slight chance of rain and snow is forecast for Saturday night before 9 p.m., then a slight chance of snow. Conditions will be cloudy with a low around 29 degrees and northwest winds at 10 mph-15 mph. There’s a 20-percent chance for precipitation.

Conditions will improve Sunday with mostly sunny skies and a high near 36 in the forecast with light winds.

Sunday night is expected to be mostly clear with a low around 25 degrees and calm wind.

A warming trend will continue Monday with a high near 48 degrees predicted. Wilson County will be under sunny skies with light winds.
