Sep 4, 2013

The Lebanon Special School District Board of Education is set to meet Thursday at 5 p.m. at their Central Office at 701 Coles Ferry Pike.

New business up for discussion and approval by the board will include funding for school resource officers for the 2013-14 school year.

The board will consider the tax rate for LSSD as well as a Tennessee code that will put the district in compliance with the state’s textbook codes.

The code states that the board must comply and agree that all children enrolled in the local education system have been furnished with all required textbooks.

The board will also look to approve Race to the Top and Scope of Work budgets for the 2013-14 year.
