The Wilson County School Board will meet Monday to discuss and approve several items.
Items on the agenda include second readings for a number of personnel-related policy changes and a number of first readings for changes on instructional items.
The 2014 school calendar revisions will be put to a vote Monday following a work session discussion Nov. 22.
"The calendar the board approved was short a half day, so we discussed some options for fixing that."
Setterlund said that during initial discussions about the calendar, the board double counted a half day in September.
"They failed to realize that it's a full day for teachers," he said.
Another item up for discussion will be approval of adding three new positions: a deputy director of academics, a deputy director of student services and a deputy director of talent management.
