Several budget items will be up for discussion, as well as a differentiated pay plan for system employees, at the Wilson County Board of Education meeting Friday.
The board will also vote on a proposal for the appraisal of the old Lebanon High School property.
Budget items up for discussion include the central cafeteria, the extended school program budgets and the school federal projects fund, as well as the general-purpose school fund.
Donna Wright will participate in her first board meeting as director of schools. Wright, who started work July 1, said she is ready for the meeting and prepared to discuss the budget issues, having dealt with budget items in her previous job as assistant superintendent of Williamson County Schools.
Also on the agenda are approval of school food service documents, changes to the board accounting manual, revisions to a facility use policy and approval of bids for various items.
The board will meet Friday at 4 p.m. at the Central Office on Stumpy Lane in Lebanon.
