The Lebanon High School girls cross country team finished fifth and the boys finished sixth at the Midstate Qualifier Thursday at Sharp Springs Park in Smyrna.
The girls were led by Caitlyn Strickland, who finished 20th with a time of 23:06. Maggie Crowell finished 26th with a time of 23:30, while Chol Rambang finished 30th with a time of 24:25.
Heather Allmond finished 32nd with a time of 24:31 while Maddie Martin finished 34th with a time of 24:40.
Also running for the Lady Devils were Allison Garner (59th, 26:22), Pam Warden (63rd, 26:42) and Allison Trentham (143rd, 30:09).
Brentwood Academy won the girls' meet with a score of 39 points. Franklin County finished second with 73 points while Macon County finished with 94 points, good for third. Lebanon finished with 142 points.
The boys team was paced by Mark Britt. Britt finished fifth in the meet with a time of 16:48.
Anthony Reeves finished 24th with a time of 18:43, while Caleb Kawasaki was 31st with a time of 18:55. Austin Montgomery's 48th-place finish was with a time of 19:25, while Deiontae Sullivan finished 68th with a time of 20:11.
Also running for Lebanon was Cole Langford (86th, 20:48), James Jones (93rd, 21:19), Jacob Andrews (116th, 21:25) and Ethan Carr (157th, 23:23).
Brentwood Academy's boys' team won the meet with 38 points, while Cookeville and Station Camp finished second and third, respectively, with 93 and 100 points. Lebanon had 176.
Up next for Lebanon is the Beech Invitational one week from today at Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville.
