"Our defense let us down on the three goals Smyrna scored," Mt. Juliet coach Ryan Hill said. "We made mental mistakes close to the goal and it cost us."

Mt. Juliet's match last Thursday against Macon County was called off due to a family emergency involving the Lady Tigers' coach. It will probably not be rescheduled.

The Lady Bears will next play host to District 9-AAA rival Portland at 6 p.m. Thursday.
