Lebanon took out visiting Station Camp in the minimum three games 25-18, 25-13, 25-15 in District 9-AAA volleyball Monday night.
Tatum Thompson led Lebanon with 22 assists, nine digs, two aces and a kill while Alex Britt supplied seven digs, five kills, three aces and an assist; Megan Brown 13 digs, two aces and a kill; Kelsey Yarbrough eight kills, four digs and two blocks and Bri Clemmons eight kills and three digs.
Lebanon also won the junior-varsity match 25-12, 25-14.
Taylor Black notched nine assists, three kills, two digs and an ace for Lebanon while Brooke Pickler picked up six assists, six digs, three kills and three assists; Erin Arnold seven digs, five kills and two aces and Kayla Rodrigues eight aces.
Lebanon will play host to Beech at 6 p.m. tonight after the JV match at 5.
Central spikes Hendersonville
GLADEVILLE — Wilson Central swept visiting Hendersonville 25-23, 25-17, 25-13 Monday in District 9-AAA volleyball.
Brittany Wiseman led the Lady Wildcats with 23 digs, two assists, a kill and an ace while Delaney McCorkle finished with four kills, four digs, an ace and a block; Amy Trice eight assists, five aces and two digs; Cassie Bryant eight digs, three aces and two kills; Macy Wright four kills, two aces and two digs; Jordan Fitzgerald eight assists and five digs, Libby Trowbridge five kills and a block, Averi Usher a kill and a dig and Kristen Guethlein two kills as Central moved to 7-5 for the season and 3-2 in the district.
Central also won the junior-varsity match 25-23, 25-11. The Lady Wildcat freshmen also prevailed in two games.
The Lady Wildcats will travel to Portland today for a 6 p.m. varsity match before returning home to face Beech on Thursday.
They will play host to their annual Fall Fling 16-team tournament Friday and Saturday. Watertown will join Portland, Station Camp, White Station, Franklin, Hillwood, Northeast, Oakland, Hendersonville Christian, McGavock, LaVergne, Donelson Christian, Cookeville, Murfreesboro Central Magnet and the host Lady Wildcats.
