Third annual Bulldog Madness set for Oct. 11

Cumberland will host the third annual Basketball Madness on Oct. 11, a kids clinic for ages 6-13 featuring the CU men’s and women’s programs as well as a 3-point and slam contest with Bulldog students and an autograph session with both teams.

The Cumberland coaching staff and men’s and women’s players will conduct the kids’ clinic from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center. Sign-in for the clinic begins at 5:30 p.m.

At the end of the clinic both the men’s and women’s teams will have an autograph session for the participants as well as CU students. Those interested in signing up for the kids’ clinic may print a brochure here or call the women’s basketball office at 615/547-1289.

From 8-9 p.m. Cumberland students will take part in 3-point and slam dunk contests.

The men’s and women’s programs will provide free pizza for Cumberland students as well as throw out t-shirts during the 3-point and slam dunk contests. CU students interested in participating in the 3-point and slam dunk contests must visit the women’s basketball office to sign up.
