FRANKLIN — Mt. Juliet Christian was no match for host Battle Ground Academy as the Lady Wildcats wore out the Lady Saints 10-0 in the East-Middle Region quarterfinal Thursday night.

BGA led 4-0 at halftime. Abbie Kerr finished with five goals for the Lady Wildcats.

Olivia Gonzales totaled 30 saves for the Lady Saints, who finished coach Heather Anderson’s first season 7-9.

“I am so proud of the Lady Saints’ 2013 soccer season,” Anderson said. “Battle Ground Academy is an incredibly talented team, and by far the toughest team that we have faced this year. We held our own for most of the game.

“It’s amazing to look back over the season and see just how far we have come. Each and every young lady has pushed herself to be the best she can be. I’m sad to see the season come to an end, but I am excited to see what the future holds for us.”
