BARDSTOWN, Ky. — Sophomore Ryan Botts birdied two of the last three holes for a two-shot victory and senior Austin Garrett and freshman Zach Johnson both finished in the top 5, leading Cumberland to a second team victory in two events this fall at the St. Catharine Fall Invitational this week at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood.
Botts led by one shot after the opening round but played the first 15 holes in three-over in Tuesday’s round and trailed Asbury’s Steven Brooks by a shot heading to the par-3 16th hole.
