Results from the Lebanon Junior-Senior Pro Football League games played at Walter J. Baird Middle School:
Senior Division 10-11s
Vols 24, Bandits 0
Dorian Champion and Tyson Kelley scored two touchdowns apiece as the Vols clinched the league championship.
Champion scored on runs of 28 and 3 yards. Kelley crossed over on a 40-yard run and a 60-yard interception return.
Jemar Kynard and Ryan Burrow recovered fumbles for the Vols.
Blue Devils 7, Vols 6
Carlos Willis’ extra point run following his 4-yard touchdown run in the second quarter proved to be the difference for the Blue Devils, who claimed the division championship.
Zachary Self’s 10-yard run bought the Vols to within a point in the third quarter, but the PAT failed.
Vols 25, Blue Devils 18
Zachary Self scored two second-half touchdowns to help the Vols pull away.
Self scored on runs of 3 and 4 yards, keeping the Vols ahead enough to absorb the 65- and 20-yard touchdown runs of the Blue Devils’ Carlos Willis in the fourth quarter. Willis started his three-TD night with a 60-yard score in the second period.
Casen Kincaid opened the scoring with an early 60-yard run, followed by Deshawn Sawyers’ extra-point run. Remorian Jackson’s 7-yard scoring run opened a 13-0 Vol lead in the first quarter.
Zackary Owen, Gavin Hempson and Briston Roberse recovered fumbles for the Vols. Elijah Summer and Hayden Climer claimed takeaways for the Blue Devils.
Junior Division 8-9s
Brett Bowman’s 48-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and John Tomlinson’s 4-yard run in the second produced all the scoring.
Tomlinson and Kaden Harrell also recovered fumbles for the winners.
Junior Division 8-9s
Wildcats 33, Bandits 6
Kaden Seay scored three touchdowns and Yavin Alexander the other two as the undefeated Wildcats captured the league championship.
Seay scored on runs of 20, 54 and 60 yards. Alexander crossed over from 56 and 51 yards. Alexander, Gavin Turner and Rubin Brinykle scored on extra-point runs.
John Tomlinson beat the Wildcats to the scoreboard with his 65-yard return of the opening kickoff for the Bandits.
Vols 22, Bandits 18
Dorian Champion scored twice to help propel the Vols to victory.
He scored on runs of 60 and 20 yards, sandwiched around Tyson Kelley’s 6-yard scoring run. Alante Coggins kicked a pair of two-point conversions, which turned out to be the difference in the final score.
Andrew Porter scored twice and Mason Reed once for the Bandits, who came up empty on all three PATs. Porer scored on a 45-yard run and a 70-yard kick return. Reed put the Bandits on the board with an 8-yard run in the second quarter.
