The Cumberland volleyball team is set for a match against top-seeded Lindsey Wilson at the Mid-South Conference Championships on Friday in Louisville, as announced by the league office on Sunday.

The Bulldogs and Blue Raiders will square off at 11 a.m. CST at the MidAmerican Sports Center. CU did not qualify for the MSC Championships last season.

Cumberland will represent the eighth seed in the single-elimination tournament. Lindsey Wilson defeated the Bulldogs in straight sets on a pair of occasions this season.

The semifinal and final rounds will each be played Saturday. Should Cumberland upset Lindsey Wilson, they will play at 9 a.m. CST against the winner of a matchup between No. 4 St. Catharine and No. 5 Shawnee State. The finals are set for 4 p.m.
