ROME, Ga. — Swimming in her final college home meet, Rachel Sandoval established three school records for Berry College in the Vikings Classic last weekend.
Sandoval, who swam for Friendship Christian School and the Lebanon-based Middle Tennessee Swim Club, broke her own record with times of :24.32 and :54.75 in the 50- and 100-freestyle, respectively. Her 200-free relay time of 1:42.4 is also a school record.
In her four seasons, Sandoval has established six records in individual and relay competition.
She and the Vikings will compete in the Southern Athletic Conference Championships to be held at the SportsPlex in Birmingham, Ala., Feb. 12-15.
