BELL BUCKLE — Mt. Juliet Christian opened its boys’ soccer season Tuesday with a 6-0 loss at Webb School.

The Feet led 3-0 at halftime. But the outcome could have been worse had Ben Ormsby not come through with 20 saves, Saints coach Justin Berry said.

“He had a [great] game, definitely kept it from being 15-0,” Berry said of Ormsby. “He played his heart out.

“Webb is a very good school and our boys played very hard.”

Mt. Juliet Christian will travel to Madison Academy on Thursday for a 4:30 p.m. game.

In middle school action Tuesday night, Mt. Juliet Christian lost to Davidson Academy 3-2.

Gavin Forsha and A.J. James scored for the Saints, who will travel to Macon County on Thursday.
