Lebanon and visiting White County played to a 3-3 tie in high school boys’ soccer action Tuesday night.
The Blue Devils trailed 2-0 at halftime. Captain Andrew Grimes put Lebanon on the board 15 minutes into the second half when he picked up the ball just beyond the midline and lobbed a shot over the goalie.
Chuka Aruh tied the score 10 minutes later when he picked up a loose ball in the box and kicked it home.
White County regained the lead 3-2 before Aruh’s second score of the night with five minutes left knotted the score to stay.
Cole Morse managed six saves for the Blue Devils, who had 18 shots to White County’s seven.
Lebanon was coming off a 2-0 season-opening win over Macon County on Monday as Grimes and Tovar Jose scored for the Blue Devils, who had 12 shots to the Tigers’ six.
The Devils led 1-0 at halftime.
