Cumberland’s Tasia Blue, Daniel McFadden and Terry Williams were named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced this week by the national office.
Student-athletes must be a junior or senior academically and maintain a 3.50 grade-point-average or above to be eligible for the award.
Blue, a junior from Jackson, holds a 3.54 GPA in business Administration. She started 14 games and played in 24 contests this season, posting 4.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists per outing.
McFadden carries 3.69 GPA with a double major in psychology and business. The redshirt junior from Nashville averaged 7.9 points and 2.7 rebounds but played in just 12 games with eight starts this past season due to injuries.
Williams maintains a 3.67 in business. The senior forward from Fayetteville, Ga., played in 23 games this season with five starts and ended his Bulldog career with 95 games played.
