MT. JULIET — Lebanon was held to one hit by two Dobyns Bennett pitchers in a 4-0 loss in the [Riverdale] Warrior Classic on Friday.

Lebanon’s Connor Harris was almost equal to the task, matching the Indians’ Logan McDonald zero for zero until Dobyns Bennett broke through for a pair of runs in the top of the fifth inning and two more in the seventh. But only one of the runs was earned as the Blue Devils slipped to 7-7.

McDavid allowed only Harris’ fifth-inning single to center field while walking four and striking out six in as many innings.

Harris surrendered six hits and two walks while whiffing six in seven innings.

Lebanon will wrap up the Classic today at LaVergne, facing Christ Presbyterian at 10 a.m. and the host Wolverines at 12:30 p.m.
