HENDERSONVILLE — Mt. Juliet’s girls shut out Hendersonville 9-0 while the boys lost 7-2 Tuesday at Drakes Creek Park.

Singles winners for the Lady Bears were Taylor Bounds over Sarah Hall 6-3, 7-5; Jacqueline Winstead over Rae Gullett 6-1, 6-2; Rachel Bounds over Allison Newell 6-2, 6-0; Elena Crews over Makenzie Robinson 6-0, 6-4; Elizabeth Stanley over Lauren Lee 6-3, 7-5; Paula Araque over Grace Phillips 6-0, 6-2 and Andrea Hanson over Anna Scudder 8-2.

Doubles winners were Taylor Bounds and Sally McCabe over Hall and Lee 8-4, Winstead and Crews over Newell and Robinson 8-3 and Stanley and Rachel Bounds over Gullett and K. Dineen 8-2.

Singles winners for the Commandos were Kato Richardson over Trevor Hunt 6-2, 6-2; Braden White over Nathan Brown 6-2, 6-4; Miller Kampa over Josh Walker 6-0, 6-1; Eric Newell over Tyler Decker 6-0, 6-0; Brian Grim over Ethan Johnston 6-4, 5-7, 12-10 and Matt Martin over Cameron Walker 9-8 [7-4 in the tiebreaker].

Doubles winners for the Commandos were Richardson and White over Hunt and  Decker 8-0 and Kampa and Newell over Brown and Josh Walker 8-6.

Golden Bear winners were Josh Johnson over Marcus Crystal 6-3, 6-1 and Johnston and Johnson over Crystal and A. Longe 8-5.

Central swept by Beech

GLADEVILLE — Beech won both District 9-AAA tennis matches at Wilson Central by 8-1 scores Tuesday.

Singles winners for the Lady Buccaneers were Courtney Brooks over Kansas Glasgow 6-1, 6-0; Allie Gwinn over Michela Micco 6-1, 6-2; Chelsea Cox over Jackie Anderson 8-2, Rachel Ricker over Rebecca Glenn 8-5 and Ryan Sheen over Hallie Wolfe 8-6.

Doubles winners were Brooks and Gwinn over Glasgow and Lani Lee 8-2, Ricker and Savannah Bain over Micco and Anderson 8-4 and Cox and Sheen over Glenn and Wolfe 8-4.

Lee was Central’s winner 8-2 over Bain.

Beech’s Amelia Smith beat Lucia Hurtado 8-3 while Central’s Jennifer Beckham topped Brooke Millspeuol 6-1 in exhibition matches.

Buccaneer singles winners were Jordan Brown over Nathaniel Dennison 6-1, 6-0; Isaac Townsend over Zack Baker 6-1, 6-0; Chandler Dorris over Max Rahmani 8-0, Taylor Phillips over Paden Robertson 8-0, Robert Balgerson over Chase McElfresh 8-5 and Cooper Presley over Reece Gaddes 8-5.

Doubles winners were Townsend and Dorris over Dennison and Baker 8-6 and Brown and Phillips over Robertson and McElfresh 8-3.

Central’s winners were Gaddes and Houston Wood over Balgerson and Presley 8-5.

Beech’s Eli Cooper shut out Peyton Muncy 8-0 and Drew McLaurine doubled up the Wildcats’ Jake Lamie 8-4 in exhibition matches.

Central will travel to Gallatin to take on Station Camp at 3:30 p.m. Friday.

GALLATIN — Wilson Central’s girls rolled to a 9-0 win over Gallatin at Municipal Park on Monday.

The Wildcats dropped a 5-4 decision in which Central either had the lead, was tied or was close in each of the four losses.

Michela Micco had the toughest match of the day for the Lady Wildcats, getting past Grace Pincock at No. 2 singles 7-5, 6-7 [5-7 in the tiebreaker], 10-8.

Other Lady Wildcat singles winners were Kansas Glasgow over Kaitlyn Quinn 6-2, 6-1; Lani Lee over Erica Urena 8-1, Jackie Anderson over Baylee Green 8-1, Rebecca Glenn over Megan Bradford 8-1 and Hallie Wolfe over Anna Roberts 8-0.

Doubles winners were Glasgow and Lee over Quinn and Pincock 8-4, Micco and Anderson over Green and Bradford 8-5 and Glenn and Wolfe over Roberts and Melissa Dorbec 8-0.

Central’s Lucia Hurtado and Jennifer Beckham won an exhibition match 8-1.

Singles winners for Gallatin’s boys were Juan Chavez over Zack Baker 6-7 [8-10], 6-2, 10-7; Abel Ghita over Max Rahmani 8-6 [after being tied 3-3], Chris Ghita over Paden Robertson 8-6 [Robertson had trailed 7-3] and Jericho Tanguia over Chase McElfresh 8-6 [after McElfresh led 6-1].

Abel Ghita and Jordan Scott doubled up Robertson and McElfresh 8-4 in doubles.

Wildcat winners were Nathaniel Dennison over Scott 6-1, 6-3; Reece Gaddes over Ronak Patel 8-4, Dennison and Baker over Tanguia and Chris Ghita 8-6 and Gaddes and Houston Wood over Patel and Austin Hurst 8-1.

Wood beat Alex Wickham 8-1 in an exhibition match.
