CU bowling sponsors Bowl-A-Thon to benefit Pickett Chapel, Roy Bailey Museum
Cumberland’s bowling team will sponsor a Bowl-A-Thon at 2 p.m. Sunday at Smyrna Bowling Center with proceeds going toward the Pickett Chapel restoration and the Roy Bailey African-American Museum. HP 2-Man Scramble April 12-13

Maymester Volleyball League at Cumberland
Cumberland volleyball coach Dwayne Deering is accepting applications for the Maymester Volleyball League which will run April 28-May 20 at the Dallas Floyd Center. There will be divisions for 18-under and 14-under. Players and coaches are urged to enter their team in the league as soon as possible, but individuals may also join the league and will be placed on a team. Cost is $75 per player. Wilson Central wrestling camp June 9-11
Wilson Central will hold a free beginners wrestling camp for any Wilson County elementary or middle school-age student with little or no experience from 10 a.m.-noon June 9-11. Instructors include Wildcats head coach John Kramer, assistants Ken Hammonds [who wrestled at UT-Chattanooga] and Hunter Adcock [Middle Tennessee State] and members of WCHS’ two-time state runner-up team.
