Tyler Vastola drove in the tiebreaking run to lift himself and Watertown to a 5-3 win over host Southside in middle-school baseball Friday.

Vastola’s sacrifice fly to center field in the top of the seventh inning snapped a 3-3 tie.

On the mound, the seventh-grade right-hander struck out six in a complete game as Watertown improved to 7-6 for the season.

Ethan Parker Shelton reached Vastola for a pair of doubles for Southside.
