GLADEVILLE — Max Rahmani and Reese Gaddes won their singles matches to lift Wilson Central’s boys to a 6-3 win over Station Camp in District 9-AAA tennis Wednesday.
Central’s girls lost by the same score.
Rahmani doubled up Aaron Mitchell 8-4 to clinch the win 30 minutes before Gaddes finished off Tony Zaffore 9-7 as the Wildcats climbed to 5-6 for the season and 2-3 in district play.
Other Wildcat singles winners were Paden Robertson over Heath Vincent 8-2 and Chase McElfresh over Chris Nation 8-2.
Doubles winners were Robertson and McElfresh over Mitchell and Canaan Howell 8-5 and Gaddes and Rahmani over Vincent and Zaffore 8-6.
Station Camp winners were Florin Matei over Nathaniel Dennison 6-1, 6-3; Howell over Zack Baker 6-3, 6-3 and Matei and Nation over Dennison and Baker 8-5.
Singles winners for Station Camp’s girls were Abby Brown over Kansas Glasgow 7-6 [10-8 in the tiebreaker], 6-2; Camille Baker over Micheala Micco 8-1, Michelle Davis over Jackie Anderson 8-1, Kiana Mills over Rebecca Glenn 8-1 and Emma Brown over Hallie Wolfe 8-5.
Doubles winner were Baker and Mills over Glasgow and Anderson 8-6.
Lady Wildcat winners were Lani Lee over Deb Rousen 6-0, 6-0; Micco and Lee over Brown and Davis 8-6 and Glenn and Wolfe over Brown and Lee 8-2.
Central’s Lucia Hurtado and Jennifer Beckham lost their exhibition doubles match 8-0.
Portland will visit Central today.
