Chattanooga junior Sarah Beth Roberts of Mt. Juliet was named to the second team by the conference’s coaches.
Roberts garners her third second team honor, named to the same team in 2012 and 2013. A preseason first-team selection, Roberts batted a career-best .344 and crushed a career-high five homeruns in the 2014 regular season.
In Southern Conference play, the former Lady Bear batted .377 in 20 games. Her 39 total bases in the SoCon was a team-best and slugged a leading .565. Roberts posted a .456 on-base percentage in league play, as well.
