Cumberland men’s soccer coach Kyle Smith announced the club’s 2014 schedule this week, which includes 10 home matches, including four straight to start the campaign at Lindsey Donnell Stadium.
The Bulldogs will open the season at home on Aug. 29-30 with matches against Lyon and Milligan and also play host to Tennessee Wesleyan and Missouri Baptist on Sept. 4 and 6, respectively.
Cumberland will begin Mid-South Conference play at Campbellsville on Sept. 11 and head to Kentucky Wesleyan (Sept. 16) before returning home for matches against Shawnee State (Sept. 21), St. Catharine (Sept. 27) and the University of the Cumberlands (Oct. 1) with only a trip to Union University (Sept. 23) mixed in.
The Bulldogs will play at Pikeville (Oct. 4) and Lindsey Wilson (Oct. 7) before its final three home outings of the year, taking on Martin Methodist (Oct. 15), Georgetown College (Oct. 18) and Brescia University (Oct. 21). CU will end the regular season at West Alabama (Oct. 26) and Ohio Christian (Nov. 4).
The Mid-South Conference Championships will take place Nov. 8, 13 and 14, and the NAIA Championship Opening Round will be held Nov. 22. The 55th annual NAIA Championships are set for Dec. 1-6 in Delray Beach, Fla.
