First Freedom, Wilson County Motors prevail

First Freedom defeated ADC 6-2 and Wilson County Motors shut out Legend’s Car Wash 15-0 Friday in Dixie Youth League action at Baird Park’s David B. Penuel Memorial Field.

Kolby Gaines struck out 10 for First Freedom. Garrett Pope popped a double and a two-run homer. Bryce Miller hit a solo blast.

Jeremiah Hastings had three singles for ADC.

Braden Reece and Wyatt Evans combined to pitch a three-inning no-hitter for Wilson County Motors. Wyatt Simmons doubled twice and singled while Carson Boles banged out two singles and a double.
