Wildcat wrestling ranked 12th in Southeast

Wilson Central wrestling coach John Kramer recently learned his Wildcats finished last season ranked 12th in a seven-team Southeast Region by Wrestling USA magazine.

The Wildcats, who produced two individual state champions last winter, finished second in the state duals for the second straight season to Cleveland, which is ranked fifth by the magazine and Wrestling Coaches Association.

The Southeast Region includes Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama.
