WATERTOWN — Watertown Middle School used an early 22-0 advantage to put away Carroll-Oakland Elementary on Thursday at historic Robinson Stadium.
Watertown’s Brandon Allison found Heath Price for a 50-yard score and Elijah Maklary thundered 60 yards, with Bryce Webster tossing in the two-point conversion. Price connected with Garrett Miller on a 20-yard pass to put the Purple Tigers up 22-0 before Carroll-Oakland found the end zone for a 22-8 Watertown lead.
Watertown regained its 22-point lead when Brandon Allison found Maklary on a 30-yard score. Keon Dotson added the two-point conversion. Carroll-Oakland’s final score came in the third quarter, closing the gap to 30-16.
Price scampered to the end zone for a 10-yard touchdown for the game’s final points in the fourth quarter.
Watertown is now 2-1 on the season and will play host to Red Boiling Springs on Sept. 4 for homecoming.
