Americans for Prosperity Tennessee recently named Rep. Susan Lynn a “champion for prosperity” among state legislators.
The ranking is based upon legislative votes taken and sponsorship of free-market legislation. The Tennessee legislators scoring the highest overall were selected as champions for prosperity.
“Out of the members in the Tennessee House our champions of prosperity have gone above and beyond to lead our state in economic reforms,” said Americans for Prosperity-Tennessee state director Andrew Ogles. “They have proven themselves dedicated public servants in their commitment to issues important to our organization such as repealing the Hall income tax, education reforms and halting federal overreach.”
“I am honored to have been selected as a champion for prosperity by AFP,” said Lynn. “For me, receiving such recognition is never my goal but rather this proclamation that my stand on the issues closely aligns with APF’s positions should be seen as reaffirming to my district that I always work hard for economic and personal freedom.”
“We commend these members for achieving this honor and taking a stand against big government in Tennessee,” said Ogles.
Lynn is chairman of the House Consumer and Human Resources Committee.
