(Submitted to The Democrat) In October, Wilson Bank & Trust employees and directors celebrated a series of improvements on the main office grounds that included a new drive-through entrance and additional parking. The final phase of the project at 623 W. Main St. in Lebanon concluded recently with the installation of a new drive-up ATM.

A new drive-up ATM installed recently at Wilson Bank & Trust’s main office completes the final phase in an improvement project that has enhanced convenience and safety at the branch.

The ATM, added along the outer lane of the bank’s newly refurbished drive-thru area, allows customers to complete transactions after hours without leaving their vehicles. An existing walk-up machine is located at the bank’s east entrance.

“In the process of planning other improvements in the drive-through and across the grounds, we wanted to add convenience in as many ways as possible,” CEO Randall Clemons said.  “The work that’s been done has really made things easier for customers and visitors, and safer for our staff.”

The initial phase of the project, which began in late summer and was completed in October, redirected drive-through traffic by adding a new entrance from Castle Heights Avenue; realigned the West Main Street entrance; and reconfigured parking on the west and north sides of the bank.

The bank currently has another construction project under way in Donelson, where a new building for its Donelson office is scheduled to open in early 2014.
