CedarStone Bank will hold a community celebration of 10 years of service in Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Donelson on April 17.

The event, which is open to the public, will be from 5-7 p.m. at the bank’s headquarters at 900 W. Main St. in Lebanon. The celebration will feature live music by local favorite Tick Bryan and The CedarStones, refreshments and fellowship.

“We have coordinated efforts between the chambers of commerce offices in Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Donelson for this event and expect a terrific turnout,” said CedarStone Bank President and CEO Robert L. McDonald.

In early 2003, a diverse group of business and community leaders in Wilson County began to visualize a new bank in Lebanon and Mt. Juliet – a bank that would be known for returning to the simple basics of banking: friendly, experienced bankers conveniently delivering superior services to both individuals and businesses. CedarStone Bank opened its doors for business in April 2004.

Since that time, CedarStone Bank has become known as a true community bank, with a strong commitment to education and to developing a positive business climate.

“We are appreciative of what our bank has accomplished over the past 10 years,” said Nelson Steed, chairman of the board of directors. “Much of that can be attributed to our first priority of serving our customers and our communities.  Our bank’s name reflects this.  Cedar and Stone represent strength and integrity, which resembles our communities.”

The board of directors include Steed; Jackie Cowden, vice chair; Kevin Bay, secretary; Brownie Vantrease; Dr. Bancroft O’Quinn Jr.; Don Moser; and McDonald.

The executive officers who helped form the bank include Hank Stuart, executive vice president, and Tina Winfree, senior vice president.

CedarStone Bank is a full service financial institution with three offices at 900 W. Main St. in Lebanon, 4140 N. Mt. Juliet Road in Mt. Juliet and 2900 Lebanon Road in Nashville. For more information, visit cedarstonebank.com.
