Sweet Thing cuts ribbon on anniversary

Lebanon-Wilson County Chamber of Commerce officials joined with Sweet Thing Bakery for a ribbon cutting ceremony marking its first anniversary in business April 1.

As part of the celebration, the bakery had $1 cupcake day. The day was billed as Sweet Thing’s “One Year Cupcake-A-Versary.” 

Sweet Thing Bakery whips up custom cakes, cookies, cupcakes, pies, breads and other sweet treats and provides catering services. Owner Staci Tyree also serves up daily lunch specials in Sweet Thing’s vintage location at 233 W. Main St. in Lebanon.

It is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and occasionally closes early on Saturday to cater weddings.
