Pinnacle named ‘top dog’ sponsor for Bark in the Park

Pinnacle Financial Partners is the “top dog” sponsor for Bark in the Park, an annual festival organized by nonprofit animal welfare group New Leash on Life. Pinnacle donated $2,500 for the 14th year of the event.

The dog- and family-friendly Bark in the Park event will take place Saturday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Wilson County Fairgrounds in Lebanon. Activities will include musical entertainment, a scavenger hunt, dog obstacle course and pet treat station.

Pinnacle’s community initiatives support quality of life in the firm’s footprint through financial contributions and programs that bring associates together to make the community better. Associates contributed more than 17,900 volunteer hours for 365 nonprofits in 2013. One percent of Pinnacle’s pre-tax profits go to support more than 300 community investment programs.

New Leash on is dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in the community through shelter, placement, spay and neuter, education and awareness.
