A tractor trailer wreck on Interstate 40 in Wilson County on Monday night left crews waiting until Tuesday morning to begin pulling it out of the woods, leaving traffic confined to one lane for much of the day. The driver was charged with DUI.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a semi-truck slid off the interstate into the woods in Wilson County late Monday night.

The crash happened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 near mile marker 231 at the Highway 109 exit around 11 p.m.
