A woman critically injured in a two car crash on Mt. Juliet Road is loaded onto Lifeflight.

According to city officials, a crash with injuries closed a section of N. Mt. Juliet road for about an hour Friday after a crash with injuries. The wreck happened at about 12:30 p.m. at E. Caldwell Street. Police re-opened the road just before 1:30 p.m. Police said two injuries were reported in the wreck with one of them critical.

Mt. Juliet city finance department employee Wayne Griffin was the first on the scene. He told city officials a woman in a white car was "out cold" when he arrived but "came to" and asked him if she was going to be OK and asked what happened. She was later loaded onto a LifeFlight helicopter and taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
