Hunters Point Senior Men's Inv. July 11

The Hunters Point Senior Men's Invitational will be held July 11 with a 8 a.m. shotgun start. Entry fee is $60, which includes green fees for tournament and practice round, cart for tournament round, prizes and lunch. Entry deadline is July 10. There will be two flights in each of five age divisions – 50-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-69 and 70-above]. To register or for more information, call 444-7521.

HP Two-Man Select Drive July 13-14

The Hunters Point Two-Man Select Drive Tournament will be held July 13-14. Entry fee is $240 per team, which includes a practice round green fee if taken on or before July 12. Carts are not included. For more information or to register, call 444-7521.

Wilson United Soccer signups coming up

The Wilson United Soccer League will have signups for the fall season for recreational youth [ages 3-up], adult and select players, from 9 a.m.-noon July 20 and 27 and Aug. 3 at Byars Dowdy Elementary School, 906 Hickory Ridge Rd., and at Dick's Sporting Goods in Mt. Wilson Central girls hoops camp upcoming

The Wilson Central Lady Wildcats will hold their Camp of Champions on July 22-23 from 8 a.m. until noon for second- through eighth-graders. The camp is $35 through July 12 early registration or $45 afterward. 

The first 20 campers to register will get a basketball.

Southside Middle to hold baseball tryouts  

Southside Middle School will have baseball tryouts July 26 from 5-7 p.m. and July 27 from 9-11 a.m. at the baseball field. Sixth- through eighth-grade players are encouraged to attend. 

For tryouts, players should be dressed in proper baseball attire – baseball pants, T-shirt, hat, glove and cleats. Also, players must bring a copy of a current physical exam.
